TAYB Students Fly Off for the Summer
This summer 26 advanced high school and college students from the Thomas Armour Youth Ballet are going to major cities in the US and abroad to study with one of the following companies: American Ballet Theater, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Alvin Ailey, Joffrey Ballet Boston Ballet, Julliard, Martha Graham, Broadway Dance, Steps, White Mountain, Paul Taylor, Barnard College, Nutmeg Ballet, Harid Conservatory, Walnut Hill Ballet, Magnus Midwest Ballet, Netherlands Dance Theater and Staibdance Company. TAYB continues its longstanding Summer Intensive program, making it possible for dozens of students to travel to New York or elsewhere for a once in a lifetime education experience. Each year several TAYB students participate in this professional dance program that creates a unique learning opportunity in and out of the dance studio.
