On March 22nd, 2010, the Dade Community Foundation’s Annual Grants Appreciation Breakfast ceremony celebrated the awarding of 110 grants in support of nonprofit organizations who are addressing key issues in our community. To illustrate the outstanding work of these organizations, three grantees were featured through a video presentation — including the Thomas Armour Youth Ballet.

Children's Trust of Miami-Dade
The Children’s Trust emphasizes collaboration and partnership in order to provide the programs and services needed by children and families and to effect community-wide change. It is a dedicated source of revenue established by voter referendum to improve the lives of the children and families in Miami-Dade County.

National Endowment for the Arts
The National Endowment for the Arts was established by Congress. To date, it has awarded more than $4 billion to support artistic excellence, creativity, and innovation for the benefit of individuals and communities--extending its work through partnerships with state arts agencies, local leaders, other federal agencies.
